Konstantinos Seretis is a Plastic Surgeon, certified by the European Board of Plastic Surgery (EBOPRAS), who is specialized in Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. In December 2017 he was appointed Assistant Professor of Plastic Surgery at Ioannina University.

His training included a wide range of plastic and reconstructive surgery, as well as hand surgery. During his training, he specialized in England on breast reconstruction after mastectomy with autologous tissues (tissues from the patient) and implants. In addition, his training included advanced techniques of fat grafting (fat taken from the patient is transferred to other body sites-breast, face, etc).

His successful training completion was crowned by a fellowship in one of the most prestigious international centers for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery ("Akademikliniken") in Sweden. There, he has acquainted himself with the latest techniques in aesthetic plastic surgery, with an emphasis on breast (augmentation, mastopexy and/or reduction), abdominal and facial surgery working along with internationally known colleagues.

Konstantinos Seretis has combined the surgery with medical research, since his early steps and has obtained a Master Degree (MSc) and a Doctor Degree (Ph.D.) in this field. He has participated in various medical studies and published several articles about Plastic Surgery in international medical journals. He participates in all major meetings of Plastic Surgery and has presented various lectures.

Since June 2013 he works as Plastic Surgeon in Zurich, offering his expertise in two plastic surgery centers.

Philosophy

The philosophy of Konstantinos Seretis arises from the uniqueness of each individual patient. The detailed patient-oriented analysis of a problem and the use of the most modern surgical techniques provide the most important pillars for a satisfactory and natural aesthetic result.
